I have never been more thrilled with my boy Posh Golden Opportunity and had the biggest surprise of my life at the WPCAC show on May 9, 2014! Posh Golden Opportunity won Double Grand Champion 1/2 Welsh under both judges! I was thrilled and thought he was done for the day! Was I ever wrong! After the Supreme class they started calling numbers for the Champion of Champion class which are the Supreme champion and Res Supreme Champions under both judges and the supreme Champion and Res Supreme Champion Geldings, plus the Double Grand Champion 1/2 Welsh! Omg!!! I quick went and dusted him off and through his Inhand bridle on!
There he was standing in the front row next to my Sec B Gelding Posh Optimistic Outlook, who won Supreme champion Gelding " Pam Christensen also part owner" plus Goldhills Ghirardelli Dark and behind him was Clanfair Signiture! The first judge judging this class was DeeDee Bushneck!
Under the second Judge Shari Beecher had Clanfair Signature out front and Goldhills Ghirardelli Dark behind and Posh Optimistic Outlook in the second row! What a beautiful class!
Well I just about fell over when DeeDee Bushneck chose Posh Golden Opportunity Champion of Champions and for Res was Goldhills Ghirardelli Dark!
Under Shari Beecher, champion of Champions was Clanfair Signiture and Res was Posh Golden Opportunity!!! Wowzy!!!
I have never known a half Welsh to win this and I have only seen a gelding win this once!!! I am over the mooon and beyond thrilled!
Posh Golden Opportunity is four this year and is bred by Ron and Valerie Dickie ! His sire is Posh Opposites Attract Sec B, dam is Posh Dance The Night Away, half Sec B and half Morgan! Thank you Ron and Valerie for allowing me have this beautiful boy! Plus, did I mention he also won all three of his English 1/2 Welsh Pleasure classes at this show! Grinning ear to ear!

New Baby At C.D. Performance Ponies!
North Fork's Lady Violet and Goldhills Brandysnap gave birth to a beautiful baby colt on February 28th! He is black with two small hind stockings and a crescent moon star!
Combing both parents names and keeping a Welsh theme, I named him C.D.'s Snapdragon. Violet's name could be a flower, and having it combined with Brandysnap, how perfect could that be? His barn name will be Puff, as in "Puff the Magic Dragon", plus Dragons are Black, right?
Puff is full of personality, and I am having so much fun watching him grow and change each day! I am so sad that he is offered for sale, but only to the right home! What more could you ask for - a beautiful black stallion! He will be big too! Grab him before I change my mind! You can see his dad at www.goldhillsbrandysnap.com. With both parents being top in the country, you can not go wrong with this flashy guy!
The WPCSA AGM was great in Fort Worth Texas! My husband Keith and son Andy came with me, as well as my Dad and his wife. The weather was sunny and the shopping was great!
For 2008, both North Fork's Lady Violet and Talywern Legally Blonde won there Legion Of Merits! That is 1500 points in halter and performance combined! All three of my Cobs won National Titles as well! Blondie won Western Pleasure adult and Violet in the Western Youth! Tristan won Sec. C stallions 2 and under. Blondie was also 3rd English pleasure and Res. National Champion Sec C mares. Violet was 4th for Sec. D mares for limited shows due to her pregnancy!
It sure meant a lot to me to have my family there to support me, including my Dad! I am sure my mom was looking down from the heavens watching me with a big smile! Last year, I also trained and showed Gayfields the Sleuth and Posh Ponytail Express. Sueth won his Sire Legion Of Merit and was 3rd Ridden A/B pony with limited showing. Posh Ponytail Express was 4th Western A/B pleasure with only five months of training and limited showing. She was NW Regional Champion!

The Multiple Supreme Champion and 2004 American National Reserve Supreme Champion Section B stallion, Gayfields The Sleuth, will be on our show string in 2008. We will be showing and training him again this year for Posh Ponies, Ron and Valerie Dickey.
Posh Ponytail Express (Gayfields the Sleuth x Gayfields Butterfly Tattoo), will be on our show string for 2008. She is also owned by Posh Ponies.
